Spring time!

I love spring time but I hate the wind! I love the rain and when it's gloomy (I'm wierd) but the wind....hate it. We tried flying a kite the other day and as soon as it was up, it flew right into a tree & broke. Nice. I'm catching up on my school work, since I was sick last week and didn't feel like doing scata (spelling?). Those Greek words are tricky! So, for Easter Zoey and I got motor scooters....the "Razor" brand that have a battery operated motor. They're really fun, but I feel like I'm being lazy when I'm riding them. I mean, I should be walking or riding my bike, since I've gained some weight since I quit smoking. No big, but I really need to start my pre-summer exercise routine. Not sure what that routine is, but I'll think of something. I'm giving an interview for my research paper in an hour, so I guess I better wrap things up here. Easter time!

Hey there. Took a final today while I was miserably sick. I had to ask the testing director for some kleenex cuz I forgot mine and she handed me the whole box. It took me about 3 hours to complete, which is an hour earlier than I expected. So, moving on. I am half way done with my research paper and I have started on my next course which is Liberal Arts (yikes!). Not one of my strongest subjects. Also, I have to do a presentation on my research paper, which should be really fun....not. I can't wait to get out early for Easter break. I'm so ready for it. And then for our Easter, Greek Easter. I love going to church and hearing the choir sing. It's so beautiful. We really do have an amazing choir. It's such an overwhelming feeling when you come to church for Easter. I mean, how can you not go on Easter. Now I'm getting a little to personal, but really, how can you not? Yes you, D.E.K.!

Are u Kiddin' me?!!

What is up? I'll tell u what's up? Well, nothing really, except one small thing....I'm sick! I know, I'm like, "are u kiddin' me?!!" I'm sure all u two people who have to suffer through my blog are tired of hearing about my nasal and sinus congestion.......bla! bla! bla! Trust me, I'm tired of talking about it but for some reason it seems to be interfering into my daily schedule & it's pissing me off. I finally got some school work done today, while in my jammies & fuzzy socks & robe & a sweatshirt......the sweatshirt is from Cancun about 16 years ago. It's the only sweatshirt I own. It's a good thing I chose it as my souvenir or I'd be really cold right now. It's black & I bought it at Planet Hollywood. fun stuff. Anyway, back to my sinuses....I started on an antibiotic on Friday and it's starting to kick in....kinda. OMG, my Mom is cooking bacon...I'm going to hurl. I have a final in the morning. It's so going to suck. I gotta get through it though. Then I can come home and go to bed! I can't wait. I still want to go to S.L. and take my brother his b-day gift. Hopefully, by Easter or Greek Easter. I was so mad that I couldn't go to church today. I tried...really, I did. I got up, made me a cup of coffee, which I have not been able to drink all week because it makes me nautious. I think it's the big antibiotic horse pill I take in the morning, but anyway.....so I make a cup of coffee and I eat 2 of my yiayia's twisted cookies ( no, I don't know the Greek name for them!). They taste sooo good dunked in coffee and then I take that horrible pill and then I hurry and eat a gummi bear vitamin to get the taste of the pill out of my mouth. Quite a routine, I know. I know now where my daughter gets it. That is why she gets a shot when she's sick. It's quicker than holding her down and trying to get a drop of medicine into her mouth. And the shot lasts like, a nano-second.....we have a really good nurse! I wish I wold have gotten a shot....maybe tomorrow after I take my test?! Maybe not. Peace.

Sick of being Sick!

So, I've had this sinus infection for about 3 weeks now & it seems t be getting worse! I have taken basically everything there is to take over the counter from sudafed (yuck!) to tylenol sinus, & even some nose sray crap that's supposed to brek up the congestion....I think it just shot it all back up into my sinuses! I have even been taking gummi bear vitamins, like 6 at a time....they taste better than real gummi bear candy! Not that I'm trying to be a vitamin pusher or anything, but they are yummy! I want to go to S.L.C. her in the next couple of days but I don't feel like doing shit! Seriously, if my headache would just go away, I would be a happy camper. So, what else? I start to think about doing the facebook thing & then I realize, I am one of those peole that if I do get on there...I'll never get off! It's my "addictive trait" syndrome....I'm serious. For those of you that know me....you know it's true & if you didn't, I may have just answered alot of questions you may have had! Enough of that. Hopefully We can go up to see my brother soon & take him his B-day present. And maybe do lunch. We'll have to see how our schedules look. But most of all, to see my darling nephew! Love u Alex!
